This property is the perfect choice if you are looking for a good value, centrally located holiday in a lovely seaside town. Although there were only 2 of us, the property is plenty big enough for a family of 6, and the secure garden makes it ideal if you have a dog.

Great location and well maintained property. We had a great week here. Bit disappointed to find the garden furniture shown in the pictures wasn't present but thanks to Maggie (the cleaner just up the street) we were provided with some and able to sit out and enjoy the great weather!

A cosy cottage in a great location next to the harbour in seahouses. The enclosed garden was useful for our dog. The beds were really comfy and overall we enjoyed our stay. Toilet rolls and washing up liquid would have been useful on arrival and are normally supplied. The cottage was a little dated but was fine and perfectly spacious for our 3 nighRead moret stay. Hide

Popular Seahouses, known to many as ‘the village by the sea', is the ideal location for a seaside holiday or short break in Northumberland. This picturesque coastal village is an excellent base from which to explore the whole of the Northumberland Coast and countryside.

Famed for its picturesque harbour and panoramic views of the spectacular Farne Islands, the bustling fishing village of Seahouses features everything you would expect from a seaside holiday and more. All the beaches in the area are dog-friendly, while there is also a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted. For the adventurous, there are breath-taking coastal paths to trek or scuba diving to enjoy and for those interested in local history, there is a broad spectrum of historical landmarks to discover nearby including the magnificent castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick.

There are boats trips taking visitors to see the spectacular wildlife habitats on the Farne Islands all year round. But if you’d rather stay on land there is Bamburgh Castle Golf Club, one of the most scenic golf courses in Britain, or guided walking tours of the beautiful coast to indulge in. Helping to maintain the character of the village, the variety of independent shops provides a unique shopping experience as well as a great opportunity to get your hands on some delicious local produce.
