Beautiful house in a great location. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable. For info only - the local riding centre is now livery only and no longer does beach rides although their webpage is still up and running. We didn't find this out until after we arrived.

Lovely spacious and well equipped house. Good location for walking to harbour and beach. The garden is peaceful overlooking fields. The big conservatory is so useful as an extra room. Only drawback was the ensuite wash hand basin is to small to be useful. The games room an added extra.

Great location, initial reaction on arrival is that it looks a lengthy walk to the harbour and local pubs and restaurants but is in fact a nice short walk, so nice to leave the car at the property for nights out, Great enclosed back garden which has no grass or soil boarders so was able to keep the dog clean for coming into the property, great footRead morepath running at the back of the property for a short dog walk prior to getting into the car. Fantastic views of open country at the back Hide

A really great holiday house in a great location. The games room was a hit with the children (and parents!) and there was lots of living space and great open plan kitchen dining area.

Popular Seahouses, known to many as ‘the village by the sea', is the ideal location for a seaside holiday or short break in Northumberland. This picturesque coastal village is an excellent base from which to explore the whole of the Northumberland Coast and countryside.

Famed for its picturesque harbour and panoramic views of the spectacular Farne Islands, the bustling fishing village of Seahouses features everything you would expect from a seaside holiday and more. All the beaches in the area are dog-friendly, while there is also a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted. For the adventurous, there are breath-taking coastal paths to trek or scuba diving to enjoy and for those interested in local history, there is a broad spectrum of historical landmarks to discover nearby including the magnificent castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick.

There are boats trips taking visitors to see the spectacular wildlife habitats on the Farne Islands all year round. But if you’d rather stay on land there is Bamburgh Castle Golf Club, one of the most scenic golf courses in Britain, or guided walking tours of the beautiful coast to indulge in. Helping to maintain the character of the village, the variety of independent shops provides a unique shopping experience as well as a great opportunity to get your hands on some delicious local produce.
