Situated next to the market square in the heart of a popular market town steeped in history, this is the perfect pad for a couple to relax and explore Alnwick Castle and the famous Alnwick Garden nearby.

This small and beautifully formed apartment enjoys a central location in historic Alnwick, next to the market square and within walking distance of the town’s wide range of places to eat and drink. Walk to Alnwick Castle (320 metres) and the amazing Alnwick Garden (0.7 miles) for memorable days out and dine in the treehouse restaurant. Alnwick is bursting with things to do both indoors and outside, including the theatre, historic bookstore, museum, galleries, the market, and independent shops. Visit nearby haunted Chillingham Castle (13.5 miles), Howick Hall (6 miles) and the pretty town of Rothbury (12 miles) and walk in the Simonside Hills. Alnmouth is just 4.5 miles away and boasts a sandy beach as well as an attractive high street, free parking and panoramic golf course. Staying by the coast, Craster’s harbour village (7 miles) which famed for its great seafood is well worth a drive.

Entering this well-maintained and retro-styled apartment you will find yourself in a small hallway where you can leave your outdoor coats and shoes. Head into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to find lots of personal touches to help you enjoy your stay. There is a comfortable sofa bed which is useful for an additional couple of guests if required. Here you can relax to watch the Smart TV after your days out exploring or you can sit with a book and a drink on the wide, cushioned window seat. The dining table is positioned near the window has seating for four and there is a fully equipped picnic basket that you can borrow for beach days. The well-equipped kitchen overlooks the shared courtyard and has everything you need to cook up a feast, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, a fridge with an ice compartment, and a washing machine. Head downstairs for the inviting double bedroom with a Smart TV so you can lie in and watch the morning news. The contemporary en-suite wet room has a shower and WC.

Outside you have access to a shared courtyard with your own garden table and chairs, and there is a gas BBQ and pretty lights add to the atmosphere. Get sizzling on the BBQ or order a take-away meal with a glass of wine in hand to extend your days in warmer weather. There is no parking at the property, however, you can park in the market square to unload and then there are several 24-hour free parking options within a few minutes’ walk.

Great location near loads of restaurants and places to visit. Everything we needed was in the apartment! Very clean, quick and easy access to the apartment and good contact with the owner! Would 100% stay again!

Popular Seahouses, known to many as ‘the village by the sea', is the ideal location for a seaside holiday or short break in Northumberland. This picturesque coastal village is an excellent base from which to explore the whole of the Northumberland Coast and countryside.
