Utterly brilliant, clean, well equipped, comfortable, great location for sight seeing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be going back again. Even the weather was great. Beaches in the north east are clean and unspoilt.

Rose Cottage is simply lovely, very cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Had a real laugh in the hot tub - recommend!. Also recommend eating in the Apple Inn in Lucker but book first as it is very popular. Thanks to Gabby for the shortbread and the welcome.

Very peaceful area. Lovely cottage with a shared hot tub. We were lucky as we had it to ourselves. Close to surrounding attractions. We were met by a lovely woman who showed us around and she left us some cakes too

Perfect retreat location and a welcoming attitude from the contact on site. Warm property and well fitted with home comforts. A faster internet connection would be a bonus but who needs it on a rural break anyway.

Popular Seahouses, known to many as ‘the village by the sea', is the ideal location for a seaside holiday or short break in Northumberland. This picturesque coastal village is an excellent base from which to explore the whole of the Northumberland Coast and countryside.

Famed for its picturesque harbour and panoramic views of the spectacular Farne Islands, the bustling fishing village of Seahouses features everything you would expect from a seaside holiday and more. All the beaches in the area are dog-friendly, while there is also a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted. For the adventurous, there are breath-taking coastal paths to trek or scuba diving to enjoy and for those interested in local history, there is a broad spectrum of historical landmarks to discover nearby including the magnificent castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick.

There are boats trips taking visitors to see the spectacular wildlife habitats on the Farne Islands all year round. But if you’d rather stay on land there is Bamburgh Castle Golf Club, one of the most scenic golf courses in Britain, or guided walking tours of the beautiful coast to indulge in. Helping to maintain the character of the village, the variety of independent shops provides a unique shopping experience as well as a great opportunity to get your hands on some delicious local produce.
