The property is a fantastic base from which to explore. Get out on the water, with activities including sailing, kite surfing and windsurfing at nearby Beadnell Bay or, just paddle on the shoreline. If you are looking for the simple bucket and spade pleasures, or the joys of a good village pub or two, you can easily walk to both.

Enter the property through the glazed door from the patio area and you will find yourselves in the spacious kitchen/diner with a large dining table where you can enjoy your meals together and sit with breakfast and a coffee while planning your days out and about. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Glazed double doors lead to the bright and airy lounge with a large corner sofa and easy chair where you can relax and watch a little TV on the TV/DVD and the flame-effect electric fire will add to the ambience. Four steps separate the main living areas from the four tastefully finished and peaceful bedrooms located off the hallway. The generous master bedroom has a king-size bed and dual aspect windows, an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC and you can unpack your things in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. A step down takes you into the second bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC, a double bed, a large window and plenty of storage space. There are two twin bedrooms, each with their own wardrobe and sets of drawers so you can spread out and feel at home. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, you can dine alfresco on the patio area next to the cottage. Younger members of your party will love the outdoor, enclosed children’s play area with swings, a slide, and climbing frame and everyone will enjoy spending some time in the shared games room with a table football, a pool table, separate WC and a Smart TV with Sky Sports package so you can catch the odd important sporting event while on holiday. Superb location and lovely well equipped and comfortable house. A two minute walk through the dunes to the idyllic beach, sheltering woodland and plenty of wildlife. We enjoyed the exotic peacocks although the dawn chorus became a little noisy, they were welcome visitors to our door! Fabulous place for a family holiday of any age!

Great cottage-ideal for our family. Plenty of room in the Warren for us and our extended family. Really well equipped, comfortable and an easy walk to The Joiners for food. You would be hard pressed to get closer to the beach.

The location of this property is superb. The children loved the football pitch and play area. There was plenty of space in the cottage, yet it was cosy in the evenings. It is well equipped, well maintained and very clean. We hope to return in the future.

The Warren is a well equipped, comfortable and well looked after property in a fabulous location - two minutes walk to a lovely beach. Good storage space in the bedrooms, a very well maintained kitchen, and good sitting area, though a bit small if there are 8 adults using it - no problem if you are out and about all day, which weather permitting, yRead moreou would want to be. This was probably one of the best cottages we have stayed in for cleanliness, facilities and the area is magnificent I would thoroughly recommend. However, we are in COVID times, as customers we have to arrive late and leave early because the property must meet certain standards. Accepted that is the nature of the time we live in. We had a technicaRead morel problem and a plumber was called, he arrived UNMASKED expecting access. Why would the owner be annoyed with us for his contractors failings. Hide
