Set in the heart of the popular and picturesque seaside village of Seahouses, this lovely holiday cottage is ideal for a family or friends to relax and explore this tranquil and breathtaking area.

This charming cottage is perfect for exploring the delightful village of Seahouses, with its fantastic beach, bustling harbour and a host of restaurants, friendly pubs and a great range of shops all nearby. From here you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands, or enjoy the coastal path to the pretty village of Bamburgh, home to a magnificent historic castle, as well as a glorious beach, a great range of shops, restaurants and cafes, and the RNLI Grace Darling Museum. The coastal path will also take you to Beadnell with its fabulous beach and famous bay renowned for water sports. Also nearby are Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Garden, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, and Cragside House.

On entering this charming and cosy holiday cottage you will find yourself in the bright and welcoming lounge, with plenty of comfy seating, a flame effect electric fire and TV. Exploring further you will find an additional lounge as part of a lovely open-plan lounge/diner. With TV/DVD, with Netflix, and a choice of books, games, DVDs and games consoles, this is a great space to unwind in after a fantastic day enjoying your holiday. Guest can also enjoy some competitve fun for all the family with the table football. You will also find a delightful dining area with a wood burner effect heater and CD, where you can enjoy a meal in style. Moving into the attractively designed and spacious kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an eye level electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and TV. Going upstairs, you will find three cosy bedrooms, all with plenty of storage space. There’s a king-size room, a twin room and a single bedroom. You will also find a bathroom complete with a shower over the large 'P' shaped bath, and a WC.

Please note smoking is prohibited throughout the property including the garage area.

Stepping outside you can sit back and relax in the enclosed lawn garden to the rear of the cottage, with a bench style seat, patio table and chairs. There is ample parking space for up to 2 cars on the private driveway. Guests also have access to the spacious garage which houses the table football, pool table and table tennis for great laughs with the whole family. The garage is also ideal for storing bicycles, diving equipment, surf gear, golf clubs and suitcases.

Although seasonal price adjustments are applied to this property, no additional adjustments are made for peak school holiday times.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Station Cottage is a lovely place to stay, cosy and well located. Youre perfectly placed to visit places such as Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Alnwick. Seahouses has plenty of places to eat and a Co-op on the doorstep. The welcome pack was really handy and a nice touch. You can do some lovely walks within minutes of Station Cottage.

Station Cottage is excellent! It is a spacious 3-bedroom house close to shops, restaurants and the beach, but sufficiently away from the center to be quiet. It is ultra-clean, well decorated and comfortable, and the enclosed garden is a bonus for dog-owners.

Cottage clean, cosy and even though central to all amenities in Seahouses lovely and quiet. You are within minutes from resteraunts and little shops. A stones throw from the harbour and shore line. The property is a cosy three bedroom house, with excellent facilities within the house, and a very short walk to the local Co-op, and the beach a 10 minute walk. The house is a home from home, very easy to enjoy the holiday on the Northumbrian coast

Lovely comfortable house. Enclosed garden perfect for our little dog. Good location for shops just down the road such as butchers etc as well as there being a Co-op. Seahouses is lovely in itself and not too far for visits to Bamburgh, Farne Islands, Holy Island and Dunstanburgh. Already booked again for next year - what more can I say! Thank you.

The cottage is a three bedroom house which is extremely clean and comfortable about 100 metres from the harbour. Its a great choice and an ideal place to base yourself in in touring around Northumberland. Recommend a trip to Inner Farne island - great afternoon out with Billy Shiels boats.

The cottage (house) is fabulous- extremely clean, comfortable and very spacious. The enclosed rear garden is fabulous when youre visiting with dogs and the pool table, table tennis and table football in the garage were great fun (even for 2 50 somethings!!) It was a very spacious, comfortable and well equipped house. It was easy to control the heating which was great on a chilly autumnal day. There is parking on site, but be aware it is tricky to manoeuvre a larger car. It is on the main road through the village but we weren't concerned by the noise. Don't be put off by the outside pictures of the cottage. The inside more than makes up for it. Very close to all the excellent amenities and very central for visiting castles, coastal villages etc. The local people were very friendly and helpful.
