This delightful stone built, detached holiday cottage offers couples the perfect coastal retreat in the traditional fishing village of Boulmer.

Located on the stunning Northumberland coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within walking distance of both the beach and local pub, the cottage offers its guests a traditional romantic haven. The fishing village of Boulmer is close by to the beautiful villages of Craster and the popular market town of Alnwick, both only a short drive from the cottage. There are lots of restaurants in the local area for you to go and try out. A little further afield, the coastal villages of Holy Island, Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell are all within a short drive of the cottage and provide excellent days out.

This cosy cottage is set on one level and has a lovely, light, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with traditional features and beamed ceiling. Enter the lounge area with large comfortable sofas perfectly placed surrounding the TV, the perfect place to get cosy and catch up on your favourite movies after a day of exploring. Next to the lounge area you will find the dining area, perfectly situated to seat two people. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine, the perfect place to cook up a storm or a light snack. Heading through from the lounge/kitchen/diner, there is the stylish twin bedroom with en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside there is a lovely enclosed outdoor patio area where you can sit, relax and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in this peaceful spot, enjoying the views of the surrounding countryside. There is ample off-road parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This cottage is in an absolutely perfect location. A lovely beach and the sea are just a couple of minutes walk from the door whilst in the opposite direction a beautiful bay is just a 20 minute flat walk away! The cottage itself is perfect for a couple and two dogs. An enclosed garden with private parking was much appreciated by us and the dogs. IRead morenside is comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing week's stay. The gift of wine and treats for the dogs was very welcome! Hide

Lovely little cottage for two people and two dogs. It has one bedroom with twin beds that are extremely comfortable, a bathroom with an excellent shower and a cosy kitchen/living area. The enclosed garden, with a view over the fields, is ideal for dogs and gives off road parking for one vehicle. The cottage has good Wi-fi and mobile reception. SpinRead moredrift is ideally located in the village for both the beach and the pub and is a perfect base for exploring the Northumberland coastline. Hide

The cottage is in a excellent location being situated on the coastal path and good shops with in easy drive away. The owner is a lovely lady who is very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage we had a fantastic time.

The cottage was lovely and cosy, well positioned for the coastal path & all the lovely walks. Ideal for the dog with an enclosed garden to keep them safe, pub close by but not dog friendly but there is an outside seating area if the weather is dry. A lovely & relaxing stay.

Just spent a enjoyable week at this clean cosy cottage. The owner is very welcoming and the bottle of wine was a nice touch and very much appreciated. It is in a great location just a stones throw from the beach a great location for walking our two dogs. We will definitely be back !

Great location. 30 seconds from the sea. Very comfortable beds. Friendly owner. Great coastal walks in the area. Alnmouth nearby is an interesting place - as are Craster, Warkworth. Great little cottage. Only 1 minute walk to a vast beach with few others there. Felt comfortable with no crowds particularly in mview of cover.
