This pretty and spacious cottage is located in a lovely village, a short drive away from the beach and provides the perfect holiday getaway for friends and family.

A stone semi-detached cottage in a fantastic village location providing peace and tranquillity and close to the village of Beadnell, with its stunning bay which is fantastic for surfing and other water sports. Why not enjoy a boat trip to the Farne Islands or visit Lindisfarne which is of great historical interest. Venturing a little further afield enjoy a day exploring Alnwick Castle and gardens and the magnificent Bamburgh Castle. For those who love the great outdoors, there’s the Northumberland National Park, Glendale and the Cheviot Hill which provide excellent walking and cycling routes. Enjoy star gazing, Northumberland is the largest dark sky region in Europe.

On entering the property into the spacious hallway, off to the left you will find the lounge with comfortable sofas with TV/DVD to enjoy a film or why not play a board game together. A door leads off the lounge into the kitchen/diner with a large dining table to enjoy meals together. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, you will also find a washing machine in a large utility cupboard in the entrance hall. Also, off the hallway to the right is the ground floor shower room with shower and WC. At the end of the hallway a door leads out into the garden. Heading up the stairs here you will find the three bedrooms, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. Also on this floor is the bathroom with bath and WC.

Venture outside and you will find a charming rear garden with seating to enjoy the evening sunshine and to the front of the cottage is a lovely seating area to enjoy the morning sunrise. A double garage houses a table tennis table, why not test your ping pong skills. There is also space for bike storage. There is off-road parking in front of the garage for two cars.

Lovely well equipped and comfortable cottage. Great location for exploring the local area. Only downside is B road adjacent to the property which increased traffic noise especially as not many obeyed the 30 mph limit.

Easy access with a short drive to the coast and a number of village and seaside pubs/restaurants. Comfortable cottage and rooms, nice enclosed garden. The main road is a little noisy late evening and early AM if the windows are open.

Seagrass is a beautiful cottage, with its own little garden. It is lovingly decorated and spacious enough to allow a family to spend a day indoors if the weather is not good. There was a good DVD library. The location allows access to several beaches and is not far from some popular attractions such as Seahouses, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and BamRead moreburgh Castle. A spacious, well appointed cottage that is in an ideal location for exploring the Northumberland Coast. It comes well equipped (including good WiFi and TV) with plenty of room for up to 6 people. A welcome pack of milk, bread and home made cake is a very nice touch.

This cottage is in a good position for visiting the area. Very suitable for a family rather than couples. The beds are very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness is good throughout. There is a small front and back garden, although next to a road which at times is busy.

We had a brilliant time at this cottage. The views from all the windows were great - you can see the sea from the kitchen and sheep from another. We loved the location and the level of comfort. The property was very well-equipped and the cake was yummy.
