Delightful mid-terrace holiday cottage in the heart of this popular seaside village with parking and a small patio garden. The bedrooms make it ideal for one or two couples or a small family.

This lovely, quiet property is tucked away in the old Seahouses area and offers easy access to all the local attractions, both coastal and countryside, you will have so much to see and do. The shops, pubs and restaurants in Seahouses will offer you plenty of choices too. The busy harbour is always a fascinating place to be, take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands to see puffins and seals. From here, you are only three miles from magnificent Bamburgh Castle, beach and village with a range of independent shops; and the Grace Darling Museum is well worth a visit. Spend time at Beadnell Bay, enjoy a picnic in the shelter of the sand dunes - this is a perfect family beach for a stroll, with views towards the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Visit the market town of Alnwick for its famous castle and gardens and pop to Low Newton for its stunning beach walks and microbrewery pub.

Access the cottage via the back door and small courtyard where you can park your car. The light and bright kitchen/diner features an electric hob and oven, a fridge/freezer, microwave, cafetiere and washing machine and there is also a dining table with four chairs where you can enjoy meals in together. Walking through to the cosy lounge you will find a comfortable sofa and two matching armchairs where you can cosy up in front of the wood burner. For your entertainment, there is a Smart TV/DVD so you can catch up on some of your favourites during your holiday. The conservatory offers alternative seating for your morning coffee or an evening drink and overlooks the patio garden. Heading upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom off the landing; a king-size bedroom with plenty of storage and a hairdryer. The second bedroom is a twin (2 singles) which can be made up as a zip-linked super king on request.  The bathroom has a contemporary suite with a shower over the bath, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside there is a patio garden where you can sit and relax with a low fence on either side and a garden gate leading out to an unadopted footpath for walks into Seahouses’ main shopping and restaurant area. There is a lockable shed to store bikes and seaside equipment. Parking for one medium size car is available in the yard at the rear of the cottage.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Really lovely, clean and cosy, very well equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and good location near the harbour. Parking a large car (Mondeo) was tricky but we managed and would definitely stay there again. Milk, tea, fresh coffee and biscuits was a nice touch too

Wonderful cottage, very comfortable with plenty of room. Beds fabulous and appreciated the welcome pack of coffee, tea, shortbread & biscuits. Kitchen well equipped and as well as the wood burner the cottage is kept warm with central heating. Amazing location in Seahouses, can't wait to come back!

Comfortable and homely house to relax in; all the kit was well thought out and worked well; really nice place to spend a week. Short walk to beaches north and south, close to shops and pubs and harbour. Lots to do: coastal walking, boat trips, castles and beaches.

Popular Seahouses, known to many as ‘the village by the sea', is the ideal location for a seaside holiday or short break in Northumberland. This picturesque coastal village is an excellent base from which to explore the whole of the Northumberland Coast and countryside.

Famed for its picturesque harbour and panoramic views of the spectacular Farne Islands, the bustling fishing village of Seahouses features everything you would expect from a seaside holiday and more. All the beaches in the area are dog-friendly, while there is also a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted. For the adventurous, there are breath-taking coastal paths to trek or scuba diving to enjoy and for those interested in local history, there is a broad spectrum of historical landmarks to discover nearby including the magnificent castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick.

There are boats trips taking visitors to see the spectacular wildlife habitats on the Farne Islands all year round. But if you’d rather stay on land there is Bamburgh Castle Golf Club, one of the most scenic golf courses in Britain, or guided walking tours of the beautiful coast to indulge in. Helping to maintain the character of the village, the variety of independent shops provides a unique shopping experience as well as a great opportunity to get your hands on some delicious local produce.
