Lovingly converted holiday cottage situated in the beautiful countryside around Bamburgh. A perfect retreat for a romantic getaway with endless unspoilt stretches of coastline.

This contemporary yet traditional stone-built cottage for two is perfectly located within easy walking distance of the beautiful Bamburgh Castle and its adjoining village. A wide range of good restaurants, shops and pubs are close by, yet you are still surrounded by breath-taking countryside and coast. The heritage coastline is great for exploring and there are a wide variety of fascinating places to visit, such as the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and the Farne Islands which can be reached by boat from the nearby seaside resort of Seahouses.

The ground floor of the cottage consists of a light and spacious bedroom with king-size bed and comfortable armchair, perfect while getting ready for an evening out. An en-suite shower room with basin and WC is next door, as well as a washing machine and dryer. Stairs lead to the first floor with its open-plan kitchen/dining and lounge area. Granite work tops are featured throughout the kitchen as well as on the dining top table. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer and dishwasher. The lounge area has a beautiful exposed stone wall and two comfortable armchairs with TV and DVD player. A stunning window with a granite topped breakfast bar and stools is the perfect place to sit with a coffee as you admire the views beyond.

Outside there are bench seats to sit at on a warm summer's day as well as private, off-road parking for one car.

A spacious, well equipped cottage in a convenient location on the edge of the village,10-15 mins walk to good choice of pubs/eating places. Great walks along the coast in both directions, amazing beaches and lots of interesting places to visit just a drive away.

A very comfortable cottage which was spacious for a sleeps two cottage . The location was great for exploring the area and the beach was just a few minutes walk away . It was clean and well appointed and cosy when the weather turned a b it chilly!!

Superb modern cottage, well designed and equipped. Perfect and quiet location with open views to coast on edge of Bamburgh village. Several easy walks into village and castle. Good location for visiting the nearby Farne Islands and Holy Island, together with other east coast towns and villages. Cottage very warm and comfortable. Facilities were good, modern and well maintained. Very handy for beach. Pubs in Bamburgh 15 mins walk away. We highly recommend Copper Kettle and Bamburgh Castle to visit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Berwick well worth a visit as was Barter Books in Alnwick.

Wonderful homely and comfortable cottage. Well equipped and very clean. Few minutes walk across the dunes to the beautiful sandy beach. Most attractions within half hour drive. A beautiful part of the country to visit. The cottage is very central to places to visit. Would highly recommend.

Quiet location; well laid out, fully equipped. Decent internet connection was a surprise. Efficient and painless booking process; cottage was as described. A 12 minute walk from Bamburgh village with its good pubs and restaurants, this cottage was in an ideal location.

Great cottage and the location is perfect being just outside the village. 5 minute walk to the village or the beach. Some good places to eat and drink in Bamburgh and Carter's butchers is one of the best you'll find anywhere.

The cottage was perfect. Beautifully presented and in an excellent location for exploring the Northumbrian coast. We particularly enjoyed walks along the beach at Bamburgh, which was practically on our doorstep, visiting nearby Seahouses for some fresh fish from the famous Swallow Fish smokehouse and trips to Lindisfarne and Alnwick.
