This beautifully refurbished stone-built cottage is an ideal base from which to explore popular Seahouses.

Located in the popular fishing village of Seahouses, this property is just a short stroll from the local shops, pubs and restaurants. From the harbour, take a boat to the nearby Farne Islands, home to colonies of puffins and seals or cross the causeway to visit Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle and Priory. Those in search of activity will be spoilt for choice by the array of watersports, golf, horse riding and cycling facilities the local area has to offer. Or, for a more gentle pace of life, set out on foot along the miles of paths that connect Seahouses with its neighbouring coastal villages, beaches, pubs and restaurants.

Inside, the property is the perfect blend of stylish, contemporary and cosy. A warm and welcoming lounge sets the scene for relaxing evenings in front of the TV/DVD while the wood burner crackles away in the original brick fireplace. At the rear of the house, a sunny kitchen/diner features wooden flooring, stylish contemporary units, oak worktops, a butler’s sink and plenty of natural light. Once prepared, enjoy delicious meals at the traditional farmhouse table in the dining area nearby where patio doors open onto the courtyard garden for an al fresco feel whatever the weather. This property offers three light and airy first floor bedrooms, one super-king with TV and armchair, one super-king with TV and full-sized cot and one bunk bedroom with TV. The bedrooms share a clean and bright bathroom with overhead shower.

Step outside from the kitchen/diner and onto the enclosed patio garden, which is furnished with a table and chairs and BBQ for guests to enjoy. Guests can unload cars at the front of the property before parking in the main Seahouses car park using the parking permit provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely house, everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and massive !! Location was great, we did think not having the car outside would've been missed but we walked everywhere ,we didn't miss it at all.

Popular Seahouses, known to many as ‘the village by the sea', is the ideal location for a seaside holiday or short break in Northumberland. This picturesque coastal village is an excellent base from which to explore the whole of the Northumberland Coast and countryside.

Famed for its picturesque harbour and panoramic views of the spectacular Farne Islands, the bustling fishing village of Seahouses features everything you would expect from a seaside holiday and more. All the beaches in the area are dog-friendly, while there is also a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted. For the adventurous, there are breath-taking coastal paths to trek or scuba diving to enjoy and for those interested in local history, there is a broad spectrum of historical landmarks to discover nearby including the magnificent castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick.
