Whether you're looking to get back to nature or to enjoy village life, Heron's Beck in Hadston is a spacious, well-equipped detached property that is a great base for breaks of all types.

Within walking distance from the sandy beaches of Druridge Bay Country Park and a few minute’s drive from the town Amble, with its’ pretty harbour, Marina and restaurants. This welcoming and spacious, detached property is ideal for a coastal break. The Country Park with its’ lake and walking and cycling routes is ideal for an active break, plus the nearby Low Hauxley Nature Reserve, are perfect for wildlife lovers. Those wanting to explore the region's towns, villages and impressive Castles can visit Warkworth, Alnwick, and further up the Northumberland coastline to Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. The sandy stretches of beach at the Country Park and at Cresswell as well as the latter's ice cream shop are well worth a visit, and there's a nearby golf course for those wishing to bring their clubs.

The property has ample space for families and groups. The cosy lounge, accessible from the entrance hall, has three sofas and an impressive feature fireplace, and leads through to the dining room with seating for six or more. The huge family kitchen offers even more seating in the form of a breakfast table and is equipped with a fridge/freezer with an ice and water dispenser, two electric ovens, a five ring gas hob with wok burner, a dishwasher and even a boiling water tap. Lovely warm cosy house with very comfortable beds. This property wasnt as close to the beach as I had expected, the walk to the beach took a good half an hour. We ended up driving up the the car park by the beach after the first couple of times so we got more time on the gorgeous sand. Hadston isnt pretty but it is a good base for exploring the areRead morea. Dont miss the nearby ice cream farm. A bit noisy as close to the main road. Hide

House in very good location for Druridge Bay, Cresswell and Alnwick. Well equipped just could do with a little TLC. Amble has some fantastic places to eat, would recommend Jaspers.

Overall we very much enjoyed our holiday, the location is ideal and the actual house is spacious, well furnished and with good facilities. A lovely large family house in a quiet location and extremely convenient for an excellent and tidy park(Druridge bay country park). The house was pleasantly decorated in themes throughout, I especially liked the lounge. We adored the large kitchen with plenty of cupboards and worktops, good ovens and hob. A comfortable, rather quirky house in a great location for a choice of dog walks left us feeling slightly dissatisfied: there were no major problems but lots of niggles which all added up. For example, I don't think the en suite had been properly cleaned (lots of mould, no toilet paper, bin that was jammed shut), beautifully planned but neglected gRead morearden (broken swing seat, lots of weeds and grass only cut fortnightly we were told), no cleaning products for the bathrooms, to name but a few. The property is bright and cheerful, decorated in a very idiosyncratic style but fun. Lovely warm spacious house with a beautifully planned enclosed back garden, so perfect for dogs. This is a well presented property in a great location. The house has a wow factor on arrival, with nice touch of milk and bread provided, and a little hessian bag with a couple of dishwasher tablets and a bin bag. However this generosity counters the lack of any other cleaning product and no oven gloves -Take your own! The house was in an ideal place for Druridge beach and Amble. I slite problem with some one parking there car right behind our driveway making it difficult to get in and out.
