We had a wonderful holiday. The cottage and its setting worked really well for us. There was a further contingent of our family staying in one of the other cottages and we were all able to sit outside together, in a reasonably private area, for BBQs or just drinks. The cottages were allocated slots for pool time. This was well organised and time inRead more the pool and sauna formed a focal point of our break. Fantastic beaches and castles in abundance (for less sunny days) all within a half hour drive. Hide

Lovely cottage. A little dated, but a great location to be able to visit the surrounding area. The pool and sauna were a great addition as well. Shame the landlord of the white swan inn across the road was a bit grumpy, always seemed to appear put out if you asked him anything at all. We loved Northumberland and will definitely be back!
