Ideally situated in a picturesque village close to the glorious Northumberland coast, this light and spacious property makes a fantastic base for a wonderful family holiday.

This lovely property is within easy walking distance of beautiful Beadnell beach, which is perfect for children, and where you can take walks along the golden sands, enjoy a picnic in the dunes or watch the popular water sporting activities taking place in the bay. There are some great pubs and restaurants nearby. You can take the picturesque coastal path and explore the nearby seaside villages of Seahouses, Bamburgh and Low Newton, all of which offer a choice of shops, friendly pubs and good restaurants. You can take boat trips to the magical Farne Islands, visit the historic castles of Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh or head over to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or the vibrant town of Alnwick.

On entering this delightful holiday home you will find yourself in the attractive and bright lounge. With comfy furnishings, SkyTV, a flame effect electric fire and views of the garden, this is a great space to relax in. Moving into the stylishly designed kitchen/diner, you will find a charming dining area with an additional sitting area where you can relax and listen to your music on the Bluetooth radio in front of the French doors which open out onto the garden. You will find the kitchen is fully equipped with a wide ceramic hob and Zanussi eye-level oven and grill, microwave, under counter freezer, Bosch dishwasher, Dolce Gusto coffee-maker and four-slice toaster. Exploring this spacious property further you will find an additional lounge, with comfortable seating and SkyTV, which makes a great snug for younger members of the family to spread out in. There is also a ground-floor WC as well as a utility room with washer/dryer and worktop, and a door leading out into the garden. Heading upstairs you will find four cosy bedrooms. There’s a master bedroom with king-size bed, plenty of storage space, Smart SkyTV and an en-suite shower room with WC. There is also a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC, as well as a double room and a twin bedroom. You will also find a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside you will find a spacious, enclosed garden with a lawn and a raised, decked seating area with garden table and chairs. The surrounding fence is tall with a gate on one side, making this safe for children and dogs. There is ample parking space on the driveway for 2 cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The holiday was for relaxation and to recharge ourselves after a tough few months. The property allowed us to do that, it had everything we needed. Easy access to places such as Alnwick and Seahouses. I would come back again.

The house was fitted out to a high standard and very comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone that needed a house with four bedrooms. the kitchen diner was the hub of the house and very pleasant to make meals and dine, enjoying the chatter around the table over a few drinks. Very impressed with cleanliness, comfort and equipment supplied at this house. The decking area in the garden was a lovely surprise. We had a lovely week as a large family group with two dogs. The location of the house meant a short walk to the beautiful beach.

The cottage was very well equipped everything you needed was there. The location was great only five minute walk to the beach. Our Sprocker pup loved it running through the dunes and in the sea. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

A lovely property in which we enjoyed a great, family, birthday weekend. Spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, the property was excellently equipped and had every facility you could possibly want. The only reason we gave it a 4* rating for location is that it is on an estate rather than'stand alone. This is probably somewhat 'nit-picking' as Read morethe area is very pleasant and a very short walk to Beadnell's beautiful beach. All in all a 5* property which we would heartily recommend. Hide

Had a fabulous week here. Lovely house and was enjoyed by us all (4 adults and 1 dog). Beautiful weather except the wind but didnt stop us getting out and about. Very well equipped house in nice surroundings.
