We enjoyed our stay very much. We noted that the mattress needs replacing...the tv doesnt work well and the hot water system is not great but all in all we were comfortable and warm and Bamburgh is not far away. The beaches are spectacular and we ate so well at local pubs such as the White Swan in Warrenford and the Tankerville Arms in Eglingham

We wanted some quiet time away and that is exactly what we got. The cottage was lovely had everything we needed, was clean and cozy. Only 1 thing could do with improving and that is lighting in bathroom wasn't very well lit. On Xmas day we had no cooker hob, but credit to the caretaker he kept in contact with us to get it sorted. Also noise from baRead morethroom in cottage next door was quite loud (toilet been flushed and extractor fan) But we would definitely stay again dispite these things Hide

This is really a studio room which would suit one person with a small dog.

Location more suited for a couple without a dog. No where near the cottage to walk your dog. It still is a great location to explore the Northumberland area, especially the coast. The cottage was clean but on the first night the bed linen felt a little damp. The electric shower was adequate but not very powerful. We will still book the cottage agaiRead moren, a few wrinkles need to be sorted out, to enable me to give a higher score. Hide

We enjoyed our stay in this small but comfortable little cottage in an ideal location. It was extremely clean and well maintained and had all the facilities required for a couple but would imagine trying to accommodate a largish dog here as well could be difficult. An excellent base for accessing the coast and beautiful Cheviot Hills as well as hisRead moretoric castles and stately homes. Hide

Small but everything you need. Location further out from Bamburgh than expected, nowhere to walk dogs at cottage. However the scenery and beaches are stunning.

It is a cottage to accommodate dogs but there was nowhere to walk dogs at all unless you drove for a while in the car.

Stunning cosy little property perfectly based for driving to nearby attractions especially Craster, Alnwick, Bamburgh and the Scottish Borders. Be aware that if you wish to use the fireplace (but your own wood) that you must clean it out when leaving. The plumbing from the attached Cottage no.2 was noisy but didnt detract from the coziness of the pRead moreroperty too much. You will need to drive a short distance in order for you to take your dog out but there are plenty of stunning spots close by. Hide
