Located in the heart of the historic charming coastal village of Seahouses. Known for its picturesque beauty and rich maritime heritage with its idyllic harbour just a short stroll away with stunning views of the North Sea, and bustling fishing industry, the village exudes a quaint and timeless appeal. Seahouses also boast an array of eateries, coffee shops, tea rooms, gift shops, amusements and pubs. Enjoy a round of golf at the local course or explore the award-winning St Aidan’s Beach, with 2 miles of splendid sands. Take a boat trip and explore the nearby Farne Islands, home to a diverse range of seabirds and seals. Or visit Bamburgh and its magnificent castle, only 3 miles away!

Step inside this charming, traditional period stone-built house which is nestled within the heart of the coastal splendour of Seahouses. The hall is the perfect space to store your outdoor clothing before moving through to the light and bright lounge. Relax after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the comfortable sofa, snuggle up in front of the cosy log burner, and enjoy a great film on the Smart TV. Also located in the lounge is a dining table, ideal for family gatherings and a good spot for a game of cards. The well-equipped kitchen is the ideal spot to cook up a storm with direct access out to the courtyard with a seating area. Heading up the stairs you will find a spacious master king-size bedroom with ample storage space and a TV and a cosy twin bedroom. Finally completing the accommodation is the shower room.
Venturing outside with direct access from the kitchen and around the side of the property there is a shared courtyard with a table and chairs for al fresco dining or lazy evening star gazing.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

A lovely cottage, brilliantly situated in Seahouses with lovely owners who were happy to help at any point during our stay. Cosy, comfortable and felt like home.

Puffin House was immaculately clean and well equipped. Although there was no on site parking a car parking permit was supplied for a car park close by and we were able to park there every day. Enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Very nice owners. The extras i.e on our arrival- wine , toffee and flowers were much appreciated. Would recommend a stay. Shops nearby. Car Parks always full - we managed to park at the side of the cottage.

An ideal cottage for 2 of us in an excellent location in Seahouses. Location was also great for getting to other parts of the coast . We appreciated the flowers and plants and also the welcome basket.

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Puffin House. The cottage was immaculate with lots of special touches. The fresh flowers & plants gave an elegant look, wine and chocolates made us feel welcome.
