Cross the causeway at low tide to Holy Island for scenic walks, fascinating history, and to sample the local mead. Play golf in Seahouses, learn water sports at Beadnell Bay, or walk to Low Newton and Embleton with views towards Dunstanburgh Castle (10 miles).
Access this welcoming, well-equipped property is via the garden path and through the front door to a small hallway where you can leave outdoor shoes and coats. Head into the bright and airy open-plan lounge/diner with dual aspect windows. There is comfortable seating for four where you can unwind and watch a film on the Smart TV after a busy day exploring the beaches or enjoy family meals together at the dining table. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, Tassimo coffee machine and washer/dryer. There is also a small breakfast bar to sit at as you enjoy your morning coffee. The rear, glazed door leads out into the garden. Heading upstairs at bedtime, you will find a king-size bedroom with a dressing table, open hanging space, and a view of the front garden. The second bedroom is a twin with a chest of drawers, open hanging space, and a view of the rear garden. The bathroom comprises a bath with a shower over the bath and next to this is a separate WC room.
Outside, the front garden is enclosed with a garden gate and is set back from the road. There is a useful bench seat where you can sit down to put on your walking boots. The rear enclosed garden has a decked area with outdoor dining furniture and BBQ for enjoying alfresco meals and an additional seating area with a low table to relax with a drink and extend your days outside in the fresh air. There is on-street parking for one car in front of the cottage, plus additional free parking nearby.
