The cottage is nestled in a small courtyard, just 50 metres from the bustling harbour in Seahouses where you can enjoy fabulous views towards the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and beyond. Wander into the village for a great range of shops, friendly pubs and restaurants. Stroll along the pier and choose a boat trip to take you across to the Farne Islands for wonderful wildlife. Walk the coastal path north to Bamburgh’s expansive, sandy beach and visit the magnificent castle and village attractions, or south to Beadnell Bay for exciting water sports, picnics in the sand dunes and rock pooling. The seaside villages of Embleton, Low Newton and Craster are all within easy reach, as are Alnwick Castle and Gardens and Holy Island.
Ramp access takes you to the front door of this welcoming cottage and into the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with a vaulted ceiling and wooden flooring. Unwind on the comfortable sofas in the lounge for a leisurely evening and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV/DVD. For meals in together, the well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need, including an electric oven, induction hob, a fridge with ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher, and you can enjoy sociable mealtimes sitting at the dining table. The utility room is just off the kitchen and houses a useful additional fridge and a washer/dryer. Two glazed doors lead into the hallway for both bedrooms. The lovely master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room and WC. The inviting second bedroom has twin beds, and the bathroom next to this room has a shower over the bath and WC. Both bedrooms benefit from a hairdryer and plenty of storage for your belongings.
Outside, there is off-road parking for up to two cars in the shared courtyard. Also on the opposite side of the road, there is a dog friendly pub which welcomes holiday makers and locals alike and sometimes plays live music at weekends and bank holidays
