House is very modern with 'upside down' layout. Steep stairs (thankfully carpeted) from kitchen up to lounge. Very warm throughout, especially upstairs, and bright in kitchen! Enjoyed sitting on side deck area and looking out to Budle bay. Sadly no useable footpath within walking distance of the house and very little 'green' areas on site for doggyRead more convenience. Great location for exploring the area but definitely need a car. Very quiet even being so close to railway and A1 Hide

The location of The Fat Badger was very good for exploring Northumberland. Airy and modern feel to the property. The access & manoeuvring was quite difficult with limited turning head for a large vehicle by the accommodation. Signs of some wear in the accommodation that may have be caused by past guests - which is a shame and should be addressed. Property is very modern and location is not bad, handy for A1 and Bamburgh. No immediate dog walking areas as all land nearby is private. We stayed with 6 adults probably better suited to 4 or 2 adults and two kids .
