The bustling fishing village of Seahouses is famous for its stunning harbour and panoramic views, and is perfect for fishing, long walks and observing the local sea life. The busy village centre offers a range of restaurants, bars, coffee houses, fish and chip shops, crazy golf, amusement arcades and much more. You can take a boat trip to the spectacular Farne Islands, home to a range of exciting wildlife, including grey seals and an amazing array of birds including puffins. A short walk from the beautiful beach in Seahouses takes you to the typically English village of Bamburgh, with its magnificent and historic castle, and you can visit the world-famous Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

On entering this charming three-level property, a staircase in the entrance hall leads you up to the two-storey living accommodation. Going up to the second floor you will find the bright, attractive and spacious open-plan lounge/diner, with two sets of French windows offering fantastic views towards the Farne Islands, Seahouses harbour and across to Bamburgh Castle. With comfortable seating, Smart TV with Netflix, DVD and a range of games, the comfy and welcoming lounge is an ideal space to relax in. You will also find a stylish dining area. Moving into the kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, under counter fridge, microwave, toaster, washing machine and cafetiere. There is also a bathroom complete with an electric shower over the bath and a WC. Heading back down to the first floor, you will find three cosy bedrooms. The first is a master bedroom with double bed, and there’s also a bunk bedroom. Finally there’s a twin room which has a single bed with a sliding separate single bed beneath, along with a TV, Wii and games. You will also find a shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the small patio area that is shared with the cottage next door. There is a private, off-road parking space for 1 car in the shared courtyard at the rear of the property.

This cottage is within easy walking distance of the town centre and has beautiful views. It was comfortable and clean.

The outside sitting area was very unkept with rusty deck chairs and dirty table that were unusable. Inside the property is mostly well presented but we were disappointed that the french doors were very dirty (definetly not cleaned in a few months} which spoiled the view to the harbour. The drains could also do with some attention because after a coRead moreuple of days they started to smell unpleasent. Will not be visiting this cottage again Hide
