Island's View is a stylish and modern three-storey property that occupies one of the best positions in Seahouses, where guests can enjoy a range of local amenities, including shops, pubs and restaurants. From the property, guests can see out to the Farne Islands, whose wildlife can be seen up close with a local boat trip, and Bamburgh Castle, with its incredible history. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is just a short drive away, while the area is also perfect for walkers and cyclists, with coastal and rural routes to suit all abilities.

The property is decorated in a contemporary style with luxury fixtures, fittings and furniture, with plenty of amenities to make for a comfortable stay. On the ground floor, there is a utility room with a washer/dryer and a sink. Moving up to the first floor, you'll find the living quarters: the double master bedroom has an en-suite with electric shower and WC, while there are two further bedrooms,one double, and one single. There is also a contemporary luxury bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The second floor contains a spacious open plan lounge/diner with a comfortable corner sofa, a TV with Now TV and DVD plus a dining table with seating for six, as well as access to a balcony with amazing views stretching from the Farne Islands up to Bamburgh Castle. The modern kitchen includes an oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer and has a bright, airy feel.

Outside, a private balcony is accessible via the lounge/diner. It has a table and two chairs overlooking the coastline, while there is also a shared courtyard to the front of the building. A private carport offers private parking for one car.

Superb views; the house is upside-down with living accommodation in the roof, affording lovely views of Bamburgh and the Farne Islands. Beds comfy, showers good, kitchen was well laid out with a reasonable level of equipment. Great base for coastal walks (plenty of interest for nature lovers), beach is a 10 minute stroll, whilst Bamburgh/Beadnell aRead morere about an hours stroll in either direction. Pubs of every type abound close at hand. Undercroft parking is exceptionally useful. Great! Hide

we loved our previous visit. This time very disappointing with the cleanliness. Extremely dusty ( weeks worth of dust in places ). Bathroom door did not lock. Visibly broken en-suite lock. This house needs a deep clean and broken items mended. We were very disappointed this time and would not return to the property. This is such a shame and the cleRead moreaning was basic stuff and also Very visible as were the breakages. You did offer us a clean whilst there but could have done more. Hide

The views from this property are amazing and the location is excellent for local services. A secure parking space was also an added bonus. We had a lovely holiday here but were disappointed in terms of equipment provided and overall cleanliness.

Good location near harbour and car parking space a real bonus. Very clean inside with well appointed kitchen and lounge. Only downside is that the bedrooms were very small for 2 adults and 2 older teenagers, I think the beds must have been small doubles.

The property was not really large enough for 4 adults and a child. The second bedroom was far too small for a double bed. I have several bruises on my legs because of the wooden bed end as I tried to negotiate round the small space. No washing up liquid provided and not enough bin bags for the amount of rubbish generated. We did not have a blue recRead moreycling bin for the property and had to put this in other people's bins . The non recycling bin disappeared on the last day. Quite noisy as well. Hide

Prime position for the town and local pubs and the sea. Fantastic view over to the Farne islands and extremely comfortable and everything you need from home from home. Parking is ideal right under the house. We will return.

A small, modern, well appointed house exactly as shown in the pictures. Wonderful location close to the harbour and town. The unexpected bonus was seeing stunning views of the sunset over Banburgh Castle.
