Seahouses is well served by boat trips to the magnificent Farne Islands and Coquet Island, plus several nature reserves nestled in the heart of Northumberland. The fascinating Bamburgh Castle is also nearby, with exhibitions exploring its varied history as an Anglo-Saxon palace, home to a Victorian inventor and all the centuries between.
The cottage features a cosy lounge with a log-burner effect electric fire and two sofas, where guests can relax and watch the smart TV or make use of some of the books or games provided. Enjoy a family meal at the dining table with four chairs. The fully equipped kitchen gives you the freedom for a great self-catering holiday with ample facilities that includes an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, washer/dryer and a dishwasher. On the first floor, the comfortable main bedroom features a restful king-size bed and ample storage while the second bedroom provides 2 single beds, together with a shower room with a WC. The traditional ambience throughout is of warmth and easy living.
Outside, access to the neighbouring sister cottage is shared, and while the porch entrance to this cottage does not allow for outdoor seating, the harbour front and all the local amenities and attractions are just a short distance away from the accommodation. You are able to unload your car outside the property however, for more permanent car parking a permit is provided free of charge for the village carpark, only a few minutes walk away. This permit can also be used in other Northumberland car parks during your stay. Please note that the location of the property is to the rear of the coffee shop and a kebab shop.
