This recently renovated property is located just a few streets away from the charming traditional harbour in the lovely coastal village of Seahouses. The village offers visitors a range of shops, coffee houses, restaurants, fish and chip shops, pubs and a golf course as well as popular boat trips to the picturesque Farne Islands. Beadnell is just a 5 minute drive away or a scenic bike ride and features a beautiful, horseshoe shaped bay which is stunning at any time of year with a range of water sports available throughout the summer. Bamburgh is another popular and historic coastal village a short drive away, with an atmospheric castle and the RNLI Grace Darling Museum. You can also take a trip to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

On entering this charming holiday home you will find yourself in the stylish and welcoming lounge. With comfy furnishings, Smart TV, books, games and a traditional wood burner, this is an ideal space to relax in after a fantastic day out exploring this wonderful area. Stepping into the kitchen/diner, you will find a delightful dining area, and the attractively designed kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, under counter fridge and freezer and a slim dishwasher. You will also find a ground-floor WC. Going up to the first floor you will find two cosy bedrooms. There’s a comfortable double room with Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom complete with shower over the bath and a WC. There’s also a comfy twin bedroom with TV. You will also find a shower room with a double headed electric shower and WC.

Stepping out from the kitchen you will find the enclosed patio area. On street parking is available.

Great central location and quiet street. Nicely decorated and comfortably warm. Although we were always able to park next to the house it isnt clearly designated so sometimes we were in front of the house and others squeezed in front of the garage. We would definitely go back again.

This cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished. We had everything we needed. The beds were high quality and so comfortable. The location was perfect for the shops, pubs and restaurants. So easy to get around Northumberland and a 5 mins drive to the amazing Seahouses beach.

The house at Seahouses exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do it justice! It is finished to a high standard and the lounge area is bigger than I thought. Very good location. Needs a few adjustments but overall would recommend this cottage. Owners very responsive to problems and have obviously worked very hard to re-furbish this property. Wi-Fi and parking a great bonus.

A very comfortable cottage in a great location. A minutes walk to the harbour and five minutes to the centre. Great location for Bamburgh, Holy Island, Cragside and Alnwick. Excellent beaches at Seahouses and Beadnell, wonderful for the dog.

Stayed here for third time at beginning of April, first time under new owners. Many upgrades have been made which have improved the property no end. Our daughter particularly liked the chair and lamp in the corner for reading. Good that the new owners took on board comments that had been made in the past with suggestions for improvements such as a Read moreshelf in the en suite master bathroom. Good communication from the owners as well adding a nice personal touch. Highly recommended place to stay. Hide

This lovely house is in a great location with pubs, cafes and fish/chips only a stroll away. Very comfortable home with everything we needed. Great central heating, and brilliant to have a bath after a long beach walk. It was a really lovely break away.

Really enjoyed our stay at 1 Weatherley Street. The cottage had just been refurbished and we were pleasantly surprised at the upgraded modern feel it had. Very comfortable cottage, with all you would need and helpful hosts to answer questions. Super location near shops and places to eat and parking was handy right outside. Highly recommend

A beautiful, comfortable and spacious house in the centre of Seahouses a three minute walk from the harbour and facilities. Very well located and equiped property, spacious and with the added benefit of 2 bathrooms! As the outside parking space will only accommodate a medium sized car maximum (there is a garage if you want to use it), the owner has very thoughtfully provided a pay and display permit for use at the town centre car park only 5 mins walk away.

This was a very nice cottage within an easy walk of the village centre with numerous eateries, and the harbour for boat trips to the Farne Islands. Comfortable with a good selection with a good selection of kitchen equipment /crockery. I would recommend going to the Farne Islands with Serenity in the afternoon for best views of the bird life. Great cottage for a couple or young family , very close to the sea front and all local amenities. It has everything you would need and its in a fantastic spot. Clean , comfortable and cosy. We would return there if planning on visiting Seahouses again. Which I guess is the acid test.

Very comfortable house, and well equipped. Great location close to harbour, shops, restaurants and walks. Parking was fine as I was able to put my Audi Q3 ( to give idea of size) comfortably into the garage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The cottage was very central, within walking distance of Seahouses Harbour. However as stated in the advertisement, parking is very limited ,you only have the width of the garage and the streets are very narrow. The cottage itself was very clean and warm, albeit a litttle on the sparce side, however, I would return now I know what to expect.

We found the property to be super warm which was very welcome given how cold and wet it was outside. The property was a good size, well placed for the town and beach area. We have enjoyed our stay in this cottage .Just a short walk to shops and pubs but still very quiet.Here comes the but,parking is recommended in the garage,if you can Dont .We did and someone parked across the garage door.A change of plan to our day and a strongly worded note on the windscreen.
