NEW Cottage!

This lovely two bedroom cottage, built out of Whinstone was once the Quarry Master's house in Embleton.

Set on a high point in the centre of the village, Whinstone Cottage offers excellent sea views from the rear of the cottage down to Dunstanburgh beach and links golf course.

Once inside the cottage, a flagged hallway leads to a light and spacious living room which has wooden floors. There is an original stone chimney breast and log burning stove, ideal for cosy nights in. There is a comfortable double sofa, two easy chairs, large flat screen TV and DVD player. The cottage is heated by  storage heaters and the log burning stove .

Also in the living room, there is a dining table with 4 chairs, a large dresser, a bookcase with a good selection of books, an ipod docking station, CD and radio.

There are glass sliding glass doors leading from the living room to a small rear lawned garden which enjoys excellent uninterrupted views down to the beach and golf course.

The kitchen has a flagged stone floor  with a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, breakfast table and 3 chairs.

The bathroom has a shower over bath, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

In the master bedroom there is a double bed with bed side tables, a double wardrobe, chest of drawers and television.

The second  bedroom has a bed side table with lamp and a single wardrobe.The single bed has a bed underneath it which can be erected to provide a second bed in this room, if required.

Master Bedroom: double bed, small portable TV, chest of drawers and double wardrobe.

Single room: Single bed with second bed beneath, bedside table and lamp and single wardrobe.

Bathroom: shower over bath, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Please note, all the rooms in this cottage are located on one level.

Parking is at the front of property.

Pets are welcome to stay at Whinstone Cottage.

Location

Embleton has a local village shop which is open seven days a week (Spar) and a post office plus a petrol station. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink in the village of Embleton as well as the many surrounding villages nearby. There is an 18 hole links golf course, a long sandy beach with dunes to explore and the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle to the South. To the North you'll find Low Newton where you can enjoy a spot of lunch at the Ship Inn followed by a stroll along the beach or you could try sampling one of their very own locally produced ales.
