Property Detail


The View is a lovely four bedroom cottage with all the comforts you would expect to find in a modern home. Set in quiet surroundings with views towards Beadnell bay, near to the village centre and Seahouses golf club, this stylishly furnished cottage provides a high standard of self catering accommodation.
 

Downstairs the light and airy lounge has a large sofa and  arm chair, plus a large coffee table, TV and DVD player making it perfect for a family holiday. The contemporary kitchen if fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, extractor fan, dishwasher and microwave. The dining room which is adjoined to the lounge is situated at the rear of the house and with patio doors leading into the beautiful enclosed rear garden, you can relax whilst dining and enjoy the view. In the warmer months you can also enjoy al fresco dining in the garden.

There is also a utility room which has a door leading out into the garden and from the utility room you can access the downstairs WC. There is a good selection of books, games and DVDs in the lounge.
 

Upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed with bedside table, a fitted wardrobes and drawers and an ensuite showeroom. The second bedroom has a double bed with bedside table and fitted wardrobes with drawers. There are also two single bedrooms. One of the single rooms has a TV and PS2 console for the younger family members to enjoy.

One small well behaved dog is  welcome.

Living Room: spacious living room with a modern pebble effect electric fire, comfortable 3 seater sofa , large arm chair and stool, coffee table, lamps, TV, DVD player, bookcase with a good selection of books games and DVDs. Dining table with six dining chairs.

Kitchen/utility: Modern kitchen with all mod cons, oven/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, toaster.

Master Bedroom: double bed, bedside tables with lamps, fitted double wardrobe and ensuite shower room, hair dryer. 
Bedroom 2: double bed, wardrobe and drawers.
Bedroom 3: Single bed and bedside table, drawer unit with cupboard, TV and PS2 games console.

Bedroom 4: wrought iron single bed and bedside table.

Bathroom: Modern family bathroom with shower over the bath, wash basin and WC.
Outside: There is an enclosed lawned garden to the rear with patio and garden furniture creating a relaxing outdoor space which can be enjoyed in the warmer months. There is a small pretty pebbled garden area to the front. There is also a garage and parking available. 

Location
 

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.

The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.

The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.

The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
