This cosy one bedroom cottage is the ideal getaway for anyone wishing to visit the historic fishing village of Seahouses. Located in the heart of the village Harbour Snug is only a stone’s throw from the harbour and a three minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants.
The front door leads into a well equipped open planning kitchen and living room area. The open plan living room and kitchen has a comfortable leather sofa and arm chair, an electric flame-effect fire and a flat screen television with DVD and freeview. The light and airy bedroom and bathroom lead off from an inner lobby from the living room. Double glazed throughout and with electric heaters this cottage is comfortable and cosy all year round.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
