Le Son de la Mer, Seahouses

A beautifully furnished,well located ground floor apartment with sea views in the heart of Seahouses. Situated close to the harbour this two bedroom apartment has lots to offer to ensure you enjoy your stay. Centrally heated with two bathrooms,secure parking and a large patio overlooking the sea ,Son de la Mer (sound of the sea ) truly lives up to its name.

The well equipped open plan kitchen, living room and dining area open out onto the large patio area which overlooks this fantastic stretch of coastline. The kitchen has a separate fridge and freezer and a dishwasher, please note, there is no washing machine. The dining table with seating for four looks out through the balcony doors across the coast. The living room has a large comfortable sofa, easy chair  and a wide screen TV. French doors open out on to the large patio balcony with furniture where you can relax and enjoy the views.

There is large master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and drawers plus en-suite bathroom, glazed  doors lead out onto the patio area. The second bedroom is spacious and has twin beds and fitted wardrobes, plus a  sea view. There is also a separate shower room  with a large shower cubicle. Externally there is secure parking.There is also a communal garden with fantastic views and seating.

This cottage is not suitable for children under 5.

One well behaved pet is allowed at Le Son de la Mer.

Kitchen: Well equipped modern kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and ample storage space.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with bedside tables, fitted wardrobes and drawers, TV,  and french doors leading to large patio.
Ensuite Bathroom: bath with shower over ,vanity cupboard, wash basin, W.C. and heated towels rail.
Bedroom 2:  Twin beds and bedside tables, fitted wardrobes and sea  views.

Main bathroom with large shower cubicle,  wash hand  basin , WC, tiled floor  and heated towel rail.

Seahouses provides the ideal holiday location due to the beautiful scenery which surrounds the village. Located right on the sea front, Seahouses Harbour is only a short walk from the cottage and all of the amenities and attractions which the village has to offer.

The beautiful coastline is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is best enjoyed by a boat trip out to the Farne Islands which is a great day out for all the family. Nearby Alnwick, which was deemed the ‘Best Place to Live in Britain’, is a gorgeous little town with plenty of amenities as well as a fantastic castle which was used as the set in some of the Harry Potter films.

If you’re a keen walker, then Seahouses is ideal for you as it is the perfect base for many, many stunning coastal walks. The beaches are unspoilt and idyllic, awaiting your arrival. A short drive away, the Cheviot Hills offer spectacular views as well as walks for the more adventurous among you.
