Cobblestone Cottage, Seahouses

This beautifully furnished stone built cottage is ideally situated and is only a short walk to Seahouses beach and village. Cobblestone Cottage provides the perfect get away. Sleeping up to 4 people with open plan living accommodation downstairs and gas central heating, it is the ideal place to stay all year round .

Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen/lounge and dining room area. The lounge/dining room has a beautiful wood effect flooring. The lounge has two leather sofas, flat screen TV with freeview and DVD player. For those with children, there is also a selection of toys, a dressing up chest and games available. From the lounge there is a single glazed door leading out onto the patio area complete with garden furniture, perfect for eating out in the warmer months. The dining area has a beautiful wooden dining table and 6 comfy high backed chairs. Also downstairs, there is a bathroom consisting of a W.C, hand basin and shower.

The light modern kitchen has may special features including granite worktops, a belfast sink and a tiled floor. It is is well eqiuipped with all mod cons you would expect to find including fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer, electric oven and gas hob, extractor fan and microwave. 

Upstairs there is a large landing area with sofa which leads to the two bedrooms. The master bedroom features an ensuite shower room, double bed with a wooden oak frame, 2 sets of oak drawers, underbed storage, velux window and a flatscreen TV with built in DVD player. In the 2nd bedroom there are 2 single beds with drawers, underbed storage, wardrobes and velux windows.

Cobblestone Cottage allows one small dog to stay.

Bedroom 1: double bed with 2 sets of drawers and bedside tables, underbed storage, ensuite with tiled floor, shower, hand basin and W.C.

Bedroom 2: Two single beds with bedside table, wardrobe,small chest of drawers and underbed storage.

Outside

There is a private patio at the front of the cottage and patio furniture for 4 people.

Location:

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.

The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.

The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
