This delightful modern house in Cardinal Point, Beadnell  provides accommodation to a very high standard for up to 4 people in 3 bedrooms. The interior has been finished in a stylish and contemporary way with lots of attention to detail, providing a comfortable and relaxing place to enjoy your holiday or a short break.

Situated on the edge of the village, It is a leisurely 10 minutes walk to one of the best beaches in Northumberland - a wide expanse of sand stretching from the small working harbour of Beadnell to the breath taking views of Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance.

Accommodation:

Kitchen: very well equipped with lots of storage space, large fridge/freezer, microwave, hob oven, washing machine with dryer, toaster, kettle, radio, table and seating for 4 people.

Lounge/dining room: the dining room has double doors that lead out into the garden area (perfect for the warmer month's). The lounge has a large corner sofa with coffee table, flat screen TV with built in freeview, DVD player, iPod dock, DVD’s and Wi-Fi access.There is also a good selection of games to keep all the family entertained.

Main bedroom: double bed, bedside cabinets, iPod dock, large fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Ensuite: large shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.

Family bathroom: WC, hand basin, bath with shower over.

Single bedroom 1: single bed, easy chair, small wardrobe, bedside chest of drawers.

Single bedroom 2: single bed, small wardrobe, small bedside chest of drawers.

There is also a downstairs WC and wash hand basin.

Outdoors: enclosed private gravelled garden, decking with tables and seating for 6.

There is a paved parking area outside of house for one car.

Brucap is centrally heated throughout.

One small well behaved dog is allowed at Brucap.

Location

The village has a small convenience store, but there is a variety of shops in the busier Seahouses 2 miles away, including a specialist fish shop, local butcher, bakers and hardware shop.

Beadnell has a restaurant at Beadnell Towers and a family friendly pub – The Craster Arms.

Northumberland has lots of castles including Bamburgh and Alnwick Castle with its well publicised Garden. Lesser known Howick Hall is also worth a visit. The family home of Earl Grey, it has a fantastic tea collection from around the world and a circular walk from Craster to Howick (with a woodland walk back to the sea) is a lovely day out.

Holy Island is a short drive away. Drive across the causeway but watch the tide times. Look at our What’s on page to check out the safe cross times. Take the train from Berwick to Edinburgh for a city day out.

From Seahouses, take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to sea the seal and bird colonies. Arctic Terns nest here (and also at Beadnell) and are watched over during the nesting season by the National Trust.

Drive inland over the moors and beyond Rothbury and Wooler to take ‘a walk on the wild side’. Northumberland National Park has a network of waymarked walks – through the Cheviots – the highest of which is Cheviot itself.

Hire a cycle, go horse riding, have a round of golf at Bamburgh or let the children play all day in wetsuits on the beach.
