Union Cottage, Seahouses

Union Cottage was completely restored and re-furbished in early 2009 to a very high standard. In addition, the cottage is in an excellent location in the old historic harbour area in Seahouses. The cottage, on Union Street is within a couple of minutes walk of the sea front and the shops on Main Street.

With space to park directly outside the cottage, as soon as you arrive you can start to relax and enjoy yourself. If you simply want to spend your holiday relaxing in the cottage, you won’t be disappointed. The lounge has a superb wood burning stove with luxurious leather sofas, flat screen TV and DVD. The kitchen is modern and comes complete with all the fittings you would expect from a superior quality kitchen. Upstairs, there is a modern bathroom and two spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 4 people. In the summer, you can sit out at the front of the cottage in the enclosed garden with a glass of wine and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing against the harbour wall.

In the winter, what better after a walk along the beach than to warm up and re-charge the batteries in front of the wood burning stove. The cottage has an excellent heating system so is an ideal place to stay whatever the weather.

Accommodation

Bedroom 1 : King size bed with quality, tasteful furniture.
Bedroom 2 : Two single beds with wardrobe, storage etc.
Bathroom : Electric shower over bath, wash basin, WC.
Living/Dining Room : Two comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, freeview digibox, DVD, CD player, dining table with seating for 4, wood burning stove.
Kitchen : Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. All crockery and cutlery is provided. Iron and ironing board also provided.
Additional downstairs : There is a WC and basin in a small cloakroom and washer / dryer in the utility room.

Outside

There is an enclosed space at the front and back of the cottage. At the front there is plenty of room to spread out and relax. Directly outside the cottage is an allocated space for one car.
