About Us

Here at ‘Cottages in Seahouses’, we aim to deliver the best possible service to both visitors to the region and to holiday cottage owners. We own a number of properties in the region, and have been successfully managing many others on behalf of their owners for the last four years. The key to our success is the passion that our staff have for Northumberland, and their intimate knowledge of the region (although we are still discovering new places to visit!), which enables all visitors to get the most out of their holiday.

The Team

Rick McCordall – Managing Director
The team is managed by Rick, who has worked in tourism marketing for over ten years and continues to invest in holiday cottages in Northumberland. ‘I think Northumberland provides an excellent location for a UK holiday or short break. The county offers something for absolutely everybody, whether you’re sporty, active, interested in history, wildlife, gardens or simply want a lazy, peaceful holiday. I once heard a guest say that Northumberland has somehow managed to retain its character, history and unspoiled beauty which is rare in the UK. Lyn Cole - Sales Manager has a background in property management and tourism, and a love of the Northumberland. “Northumberland is growing very quickly as a holiday destination and occupancy rates were up around 35% in 2009. Recent geography graduate Alice joined the team in 2009. Alice concentrates mainly on bookings and marketing. ‘We have some lovely cottages to offer and the feedback we receive from guests is fantastic. Nadine Hollingsworth manages the payments and accounts.Payments can be  made on line or by cheque, the system is easy and efficient and we are here to help ensure that your booking from start to finish is a smooth transaction" Nadine also works closely with  our  cottage owners to ensure they receive their income on time each  month.

Amanda only recently joined the team in November 2010. Amanda works with Lyn to bring fantastic new cottages to our website.

In addition to this team, we work alongside a team of dedicated cleaners lead by Pete Cronin. Pete and his team understand how important it is for the cottage to be immaculately clean for your arrival. In addition, we have a local  caretaker who is on hand to assist at all times. We work closely with local tradesmen to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
