The Fairway

This spacious two bedroom ground floor apartment, sleeping up to 5 people boasts one of the most spectacular views in Seahouses. Uninterrupted views of the sea, the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and the beach can all be enjoyed from either the cosy living room or from the front garden. Peaceful and idyllic, this apartment is still only a five minute walk from the centre of Seahouses and all its amenities, and a five minute drive to Bamburgh Village.

All the rooms of this cosy apartment lead off from the hall. The spacious living room has comfortable seating for six around an electric flame effect fire. Inside the bay window, the dining area also has seating for 6 and looks out over the magnificent coastline. The spacious master bedroom is at the front of the house and offers the same spectacular view. The second bedroom, kitchen and family bathroom are all well equipped making this apartment the perfect home from home. With double glazing and night storage heaters this apartment can be enjoyed all year round.

Living/Dining Room : Large comfortable sofa and three armchairs, electric flame effect fire, TV/DVD with freeview, CD and radio, Dresser and dining table and seating for six in the bay window. Sea views.
Kitchen : Well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer box, microwave oven, and combined washer/dryer. Back door leading to the rear sun patio.
Bedroom 1 : Super king size bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables, armchair and small table in bay window. Sea views.
Bedroom 2 : Double bed and single bed, fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers, overlooking the sun patio.
Bathroom : Family bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, wall heater, bathroom cabinet with excellent hot water supply from immersion heater.
Kitchen : Very spacious, fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, dining area with seating for 6.
Outdoor area : There is a lawn to the front of the house, the perfect place to sit overlooking the stunning coastline with off road parking for two cars. To the rear of the property there is a suntrap patio area with garden furniture. The patio is the perfect place for al fresco eating and relaxing with a glass of wine.
Cleaning/towels/linen : Duvet, linen and towels are provided. Changed weekly for two week or longer stays.

Ideal for walking all year round. Ideal base for those interested in geology and bird watching as there is access to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour. Within a mile of two stunning golf course; Seahouses and Bamburgh.

Travel
From the South continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village. At the roundabout turn right and continue down Main Street. At the bottom of the road turn left and continue straight along the sea front. After you pass the Seafield Caravan park on your left, continue for a further 200 years and The Fairway (21a St Aidans) is along this main road on your left.

The Fairway is located in St Aiden’s, a peaceful area on the edge of the village of Seahouses yet only a short walk to the many attractions of Seahouses such as pubs, shops and restaurants . From the harbour, boat trips leave daily to the Farne Islands where seals, puffins and a variety of birds can been seen, fishing trips can also be arranged. Keen golfers have the choice of Bamburgh and Seahouse golf clubs, both close by, with many more in the region to choose from .
This Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. Only a short drive away is the causesway to Holy Island which is only accessible at low tide. Alternatively, the historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.

Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
