The large kitchen and dining area is modern and very well equipped. The dining table has seating for ten and is ideal for large family meals and parties. The spacious 30ft living room has huge comfy sofas and a 40 inch TV/DVD and a warming log burning stove. All logs are included in the price of your stay. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super kingsize bed with en-suite and there are a further two double bedrooms and two twin rooms all decoration and furnished to the highest standard. This property also benefits from a double garage for parking or storage of sports equipment and outside there is a large enclose garden with sheltered patio – plenty of room for the children to play safely and for barbecues and alfresco dining. This is one of the most desirable places to stay for a large party in Northumberland and the Five Star rating from Visit Britain is well deserved.

This house has everything, from the help yourself herb garden,
children's games/toys, books, CDs and DVDs for all ages to the
Mamas and Papas cots and high chairs and the champagne bucket.
There's even a cricket set and a football for the beach. An
extra bed is also available on request.

Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking all year round. Good base for those interested in geology and
bird watching as there is access to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour.
Close to stunning golf courses at Dunstanborough, Seahouses and Bamburgh. Horse

Travel
From the South
Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1
(M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick
Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass
Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses
village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses
village. At the roundabout turn right and continue down Main Street. At the
bottom of the road turn left and continue straight along with the sea front on
your right and a row of large houses on your left. Turn left into Broad road
and then first left into Castle View. Sunshine House is the second detached
house on the right.
Distances
Sunshine House is located on the edge of the village only a two minute walk from
the beach.
Further details
The cottage is located a few minutes north from Seahouses on the coast road
towards Bamburgh. At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery
and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. In the village
itself there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main
Street. The harbour at Seahouses is where you can catch a boat to the Farne
Islands, which is a must-see for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be
required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before
your holiday starts.
