This This cosy one bedroom cottage is the ideal getaway for anyone wishing to visit the historic fishing village of Seahouses. Located in the heart of the village North Cottage is only a stone’s throw from the harbour and a three minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants.
The front door leads into a well equipped open planning kitchen and living room area. The kitchen has all the amenities you would expect to find in a modern home and the cosy living room has a comfortable leather sofa and arm chair surrounding an electric flame effect fire and a flat screen television with DVD and freeview. The light and airy bedroom and bathroom lead off from an inner lobby from the living room. Double glazed throughout and with electric night storage heaters this cottage is comfortable and cosy all year round.

Notes on accommodation
This modern spacious cottage is ideal for a holiday or short break all year
round. Electric night storage heaters and an electric flame effect log burning
stove keeps this cottage warm and inviting even in winter. Space to park outside
the cottage can limited but guests have access to free secure parking at The
Farne at the end of the road.

Outside
There is a small shared yard to the rear of the property. Parking is available
outside the cottage but more secure parking is available for the guest of North
Cottage in The Farne car park just at the end of North Street.

Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking all year round. Ideal base for those interested in geology and
bird watching as there is access to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour.
Close to two stunning golf courses; Seahouses and Bamburgh.
Travel
From the South
Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M),
following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and
follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on
the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After
Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village.
Within ¼ mile, you will come to a Jet garage on the left. Opposite the garage,
turn right onto Dunstan View. Continue down Dunstan View and North Cottage is
located on the corner before the third street you pass on the right (Taylor
Street).

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for
choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage
are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner
and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses
harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of
Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market
town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit
to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens
and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or
Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular
films.
The beautiful, unspoilt heritage coastline is dotted with castles
and villages from Warkworth to Berwick. Holy island and the stunning Lindisfarne
Castle can be reached by causeway at low tide.
Enjoy a day out at one of
the attractions or take a long walk along one of the many stunning beaches.
Golf, crazy golf, horse riding, cycling and surfing are all available in and
around Seahouses.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be
required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your
holiday starts.
