Longstone Cottage is a charming 3 bedroom, stone built cottage located in the oldest part of Seahouses. The cottage is situated in a quiet courtyard only a few yards from the picturesque harbour and a short walk from the lovely beach. Sleeping up to 6, this cosy cottage has been stylishly furnished to a high standard making this a perfect base for a family holiday on the Northumberland Heritage Coastline.
Longstone Cottage has a spacious open plan living area where you will find a well equipped kitchen and a large dining table with seating for six. The two comfortable sofas provide plenty of space for six people to relax and unwind in front of the log burning stove whilst enjoying a DVD or making use of the great selection of books, toys and games. Upstairs the good sized master bedroom with en-suit shower room is light and airy with plenty of storage space. The two twin bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard and are ideal for children and adults alike.

Notes on accommodation
This spacious, well equipped cottage is ideal for larger families or groups of
friends. Longstone Cottage is located in a lovely peaceful area of the village
with the shops, pubs and restaurants only a short stroll away. Cots, highchairs
and stair gates are available on request.

outside. Allocated street parking is available.
Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking all year round. Good base for those interested in geology and
bird watching as there is access to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour.
Close to stunning golf courses at Dunstanborough, Seahouses and Bamburgh. Horse
riding and water sports are also close by.
Travel
From the South
Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1
(M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick
Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass
Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses
village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses
village.
From the North
Continue past Berwick on the A1 (M),
following signs for Alnwick. Just after a short distance of dual carriageway, take a left
and follow signs for Seahouses (10 miles) along the B6347. As you pass
Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses
village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in
Seahouses village.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for
choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the
cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around
the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from
along Main Street. The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips
from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be
required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before
your holiday starts.
