Notes on accommodation
Little Cottage is the perfect romantic retreat, and we know that any visitor will be delighted with this property. Located just 50 metres from the sea front, Little Cottage provides a fantastic base from which to walk along the seafront and enjoy fish and chips on the harbour. The Swallow Fish Smokery, which is acclaimed by Rick Stein, smokes kippers and salmon - perfect for breakfast.

Wood burning stove in lounge, central heating system, hob/stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, iron/ironing board, flat screen TV, DVD player, sorry no pets.

Outside
There is an allocated space to park the car in front of the cottage. There is an enclosed yard at the front of the cottage with a wooden bench for enjoying the nice weather.

Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.

Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles). The cottage is located at the end of Union Street which is a right turn just as you reach the harbour down North Street.

Further details
At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are the many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.

The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.

The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.

The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.

The cottage is only available Monday-Friday. A non-refundable deposit of 33% will be required to secure the booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before your holiday.
