Notes on accommodation
The spacious lounge is comfortable, cosy and warm, whatever the weather. The double bedroom is decorated and furnished to a high standard with en-suite bathroom. And with a fully equipped kitchen, you have everything you need for a romantic break. With space at the back of the cottage to sit out and enjoy the tranquility and afternoon sun, this is a great place to relax and unwind.
Its location means you can use the cottage as a base to explore the stunning Northumberland coastline, Farne Islands, Alnwick and Cheviot Hills or you could just relax in the village and enjoy the cottage, the local amenities on the Main Street, the harbour and the views to the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle.

Outside
There is a space to park the car in front of the cottage. There is a shared yard at the back of the cottage with space to sit out and relax.

Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanbrough and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.

Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles). The cottage is located on Taylor Street, which is just off North Street which links King Street and the harbour.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.

Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
