This bright and airy apartment is ideal for those looking for a truly relaxing holiday with the centre of the village right on the doorstep. Located above one  the  local shops on Main Street, Kittiwake apartment is only a stone’s throw from all the villages’ attractions and amenities. Free parking is available for guests so you can relax as soon as you arrive in Seahouses.

Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.

Travel
From the South
Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village.

At the roundabout turn right and continue down Main Street. Just past Lewis fish shop turn left down a narrow alley into a yard area and you will see the entrance to Kittiwake Apartment. Once you have unloaded your car you will find a car parking permit in the kitchen of the apartment for the village car park which is directly behind the apartment. The car may remain here throughout your stay. To drive to the main carpark go through the alley and turn left. At the bottom of the road turn left at the roundabout into the car park. The pedestrian gate is just behind the tourist information centre on the right hand side.

Further details
At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.

The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.

The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.

The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.

Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
