This spacious end cottage enjoys an enviable location in Seahouses. You are literally only a few steps from the harbour where you can enjoy the views of the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle in the distance. The cottage is also conveniently situated as the local shops, pubs and cafes etc are only a few minutes walk away.
The cottage is furnished and decorated to a high standard and equipped with everything you need for a holiday or short break. Whether you decide to relax in the cottage or use the property as a base to explore this fantastic coastline, Kipper Cottage is ideal for a short break or holiday whatever the weather.

Notes on accommodation
Inside the cottage, you will find a light, spacious living room with open fire, large comfortable leather sofas, flat screen TV and freeview digibox. There is a dining table and chairs and breakfasting table in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you are likely to need including washer dryer, cooker, fridge and microwave.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a very comfortable double bed with quality furniture throughout. The second bedroom is fitted with a double bed and there is an additional single bed (like a top bunk but not over the double bed) which is accessed by a small ladder. The bathroom is fitted with an electic shower over the bath, sink and toilet.

Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanbrough and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.
Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles). The cottage is located on North Street just before you reach the harbour, opposite the entrance to Taylor Street.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
