The front door leads to a hallway where there is a downstairs utility room with a washing machine and dryer. The stair case leads to the first floor where you will find the three comfortable, modern bedrooms and a family bathroom. The three bedrooms; two doubles and one single, are furnished with high quality furniture and the master bedroom benefits from an en suite shower room.
The fantastic living space is found on the third floor, where a balcony leading from the French doors in the living room looks over the harbour and across the stunning coastline to Bamburgh Castle. The living area has two cosy leather sofas and a wide screen television. There is a large oak dining room with plenty of room for six to dine. The modern well equipped kitchen is also found on the top floor.

Ideal for walking all year round. Good base for those interested in geology and
bird watching as there is access to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour.
Close to stunning golf courses at Dunstanburgh, Seahouses and Bamburgh. Horse
riding and water sports are also close by.
Travel
From the South
Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1
(M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick
Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass
Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses
village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses
village.
Within ¼ mile, you will come to a Jet garage on the left. Opposite the garage,
turn right onto Dunstan View. Keep going down this road and you will pass two
pubs on the right, The Schooner Inn and Black Swan. Just after the Black Swan
pub turn right into Union Street and immediately left into Dawsons
Square. Islands View is number 3 Dawson Square.
From the North
Continue past Berwick on the A1 (M),
following signs for Alnwick. Just after a short distance of dual
carriageway, take a left and follow signs for Seahouses (10 miles) along the
B6347. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast
towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will
arrive in Seahouses village.

In Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for
choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the
cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around
the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from
along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses
harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of
Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic
market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green
fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around
the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should
visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite
scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with
castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year
round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views
across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the
coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are
both ideal for a family day out.

A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be
required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your
holiday starts.
