Highgarth Cottage is a specious detached 3 bedroom cottage situated just 2 minutes walk from the picturesque harbour in Seahouses harbour. The shops, and two local pubs are a short walk away, and the beach is only 5 minutes away. The property has an enclosed garden and patio area to sit out and enjoy the sun.
The property has just been completely refurbished and refurnished to create a relaxing atmosphere, yet with everything you could need to make your holiday comfortable and enjoyable. Harbour, shops, and two local pubs are a short walk away. There are two lounge areas and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a well earned rest.

Notes on accommodation
The cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout, with quality furniture and carpets. This is a light and spacious cottage, providing ample space for 6 people to relax. There are two living areas downstairs and space to sit out in the back garden during the summer. The superb new kitchen is a real feature and is equipped with everything you need. The cottage has electric heating in all the rooms and is an ideal place to stay all year round. High chair and cot (on request). Pets are welcome downstairs only and feeding bowls are provided.

Special interest holidays
Ideal base for bird watchers, with access to the Farne islands National Trust bird sanctuary 15 minutes by boat from Seahouses Harbour.
Travel
From the South continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village.
Within ¼ mile, you will come to a Jet garage on the left. Opposite the garage, turn right onto Dunstan View and the cottage is half way down the street on the right.

Holy Island / Lindisfarne - 15 miles.

You are 2 minutes walk from the beautiful harbour of Seahouses with boats to the Farne Islands and a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants on the front. There are walks along the cliffs in both directions and the local beach is a short walk away.
The heritage coastline has many castles and bays with stunning beaches which are ideal for families and for the more energetic walkers. The Cheviot Hills are nearby offering stunning views of Lindisfarne and the surrounding area.
Alnwick is a historic market town 10 miles away and a visit to Alnwick castle, the home of Harry Potter's Hogwarts school, is a must.
Booking notes
The cottage is available to rent on a weekly Saturday to Saturday basis all year round. Short breaks are also available at selected times - please enquire as to availability. A non refundable deposit of £100 per week will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid 4 weeks before commencement of your holiday.
Notes on prices
Prices shown on a Saturday are per week in UK Pounds. For short break prices, simply click on your start date (Friday or Monday), select the number of nights and click GO. The price for the break will then appear.
Weekly bookings (7 nights) are available from Saturday to Saturday.
Special weeks indicated in green are available for bookings of 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday or short stays with a minimum of 3 or 4 nights commencing on a Friday or Monday.
