The cottage has been lovingly restored and has every modern facility yet its historical past as a fisherman’s cottage has been retained. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Harbourside is a short stroll from the village’s many amenities, including the members only Ocean Leisure Club.
With a combination of night storage heaters, panel heaters and and electric log fire effect heater in the lounge, Harbourside is suitable for a break whatever the weather.
The open plan living dining room is quite superb, enjoying spectacular sea views through the large windows with a door out to the balcony. With exposed stone walls, this really is one of the most desirable properties to stay on the Northumberland coast.

Notes on accommodation
We are delighted to be able to offer this property for a holiday or short break. The location is unbeatable with uninterrupted sea views and close to all the shops and amenties in Seahouses Village. In summer you can enjoy the views over the bustling harbour and catch some sun on the balcony and watch the sun set over the distant horizon. If you want to just relax and unwind, this is the placed to stay. After a week here, you will feel rejuvenated and ready to face the real world again!

Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanbrough and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.
Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles). The cottage is located on the harbour.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
