We are delighted to offer you the chance to stay at Harbour View Cottage, located right on the harbour in Seahouses village enjoying uninterrupted views across the sea to the Farne Islands.
Not only is the property in a great location, the property has been furnished and decorated to a high standard. The cottage comfortably sleeps six people over three floors with all rooms enjoying views across the sea. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, lounge/dining room leading to a balcony and well equipped kitchen.

Notes on accommodation
Harbour View Cottage is arguably one of the best located properties in Seahouses. With all amenities and the harbour only a few steps away, everything you need is on your doorstep. Inside you will find a light, spacious living area with good sized rooms with all you need to enjoy a relaxing break. The lounge / dining room is light and tastefully furnished with comfortable, modern sofas and the sliding doors open to the balcony with amazing views across the sea. You will also find a good sized dining table with seating for 6 people, TV, video and CD player. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need including washing machine, cooker, fridge and microwave.
The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with basin and wc and there are two further bedrooms on the ground floor, one double and a twin. All bedrooms enjoy a sea view. The property has oil central heating, making the ideal location for a family or group holiday any time of year

Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanbrough and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.
Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles). The cottage is located on the harbour and access is from either the harbour or the rear along Chapel Road.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
The cottage is available to rent on a weekly basis all year round. Short breaks are also available off-peak. A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week will be required to secure the booking. The balance to be paid 4 weeks before your holiday.
Notes on prices
Prices shown on a Saturday are per week in UK Pounds. For short break prices, simply click on your start date (Friday or Monday), select the number of nights and click GO. The price for the break will then appear.
Weekly bookings (7 nights) are available from Friday to Friday.
Special weeks indicated in green are available for bookings of 7 nights from Friday to Friday or short stays with a minimum of 3 or 4 nights commencing on a Friday or Monday.
