Farne View overlooks the quayside in the traditional fishing village of Seahouses with panoramic views from its private balcony to the Farne Islands. A stunning three bedroom cottage, Farne View has been refurbished to the highest standard with every modern facility. Immaculately presented, this former fisherman’s cottage offers luxurious living and arguably the best views in the area. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it provides an ideal base for those wishing to explore the area’s plentiful attractions.
On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one bunk bedded room and a family bathroom with electric shower over the bath, basin and wc. On to the first floor, there is a superb open plan spacious living / dining room with pebble effect electric stove and fully fitted kitchen area.
The lounge has patio doors onto a balcony overlooking the harbour and out to sea towards the Farne Islands. In addition, there is a patio door onto a sunny balcony at the back of the property with furniture to sit out and enjoy this peaceful location.

Notes on accommodation
Farne View Cottage is arguably one of the best located properties in the village. The views from the lounge are stunning and with two balconies, you can choose the fantastic views or the tranquility and sun trap on the balcony at the back. The furnishing and fittings throughout the property are of a very high standard and this is a spacious property, even for six adults. So whether you want to just relax on the balcony and watch the activity on the harbour or you are looking for a base from where you can explore the Northumberland Coastline and countryside, Farne View Cottage is for you.

Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanbrough and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.
Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles). The cottage is located on the harbour.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
