Eden Vale is situated in central Seahouses, tucked away down a small lane yet only a minutes’ walk from Main Street shops and the old harbour. Perfect for a family, Eden Vale is a spacious and comfortable cottage.
This traditional, mid-terrace cottage’s central location makes it an ideal base from which to explore the stunning Northumberland coast. With three bedrooms, sleeping 5, a games room, spacious breakfasting kitchen and comfortable, cosy lounge, Eden Vale provides a fantastic home from home in this beautiful seaside village. The large, private yard to the rear provides plenty of space to sit out and enjoy the sunshine and a glass of wine! You will be delighted with your stay here.

Notes on accommodation
This cottage is very close to the centre of Seahouses so there is plenty to see and do. Very well maintained throughout, the cottage makes a fantastic coastal retreat all year round. Parking is available to the rear of the property either in the yard or in the lane. The property has central heating throughout and a brilliant log-burning stove in the lounge.

Ideal for walking all year round. There is information on local attractions in the cottage. Ideal base for geologists and bird watchers as access to the Farne Islands is from Seahouses Harbour.
Travel
From the South, continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village.
Within ¼ mile, you will come to a Jet garage on the left. Head towards the mini-roundabout. Just before reaching the mini-roundabout take a right turn, which takes you behind the shops which are on Main Street and to the back of the properties on your right, which is Crown Street. Eden Vale is the final property on this lane.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
