Castle View is a beautiful, spacious apartment set
over two levels with has fantastic views across the beach to Bamburgh Castle and
Holy Island. This bright, luxurious holiday property offers the highest standard
of modern holiday accommodation right in the heart of the village.
The stunning open plan kitchen, living room and dining area have spectacular
views across this fantastic stretch of coastline. The kitchen is modern and well
equipped with a large fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The dining table with
seating for six looks out through the balcony doors across the coast. The living
room has comfortable sofas and a wide screen TV and DVD player. French doors
open out on to the balcony where you can relax and enjoy the views.
Downstairs there is also a double bedroom and shower room. The double bedroom
has French doors leading onto a large suntrap balcony to the rear of the
property. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en
suite bathroom with the same fantastic castle views. The third bedroom is a
spacious twin with an en suite shower room.

balcony which is fantastic for catching the afternoon sun. There is space to
park inside the development directly outside the entrance to the property.
Coast/Beach
1 minute walk to the harbour and a five minute walk to the beach.
Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking holidays all year round. An excellent base for those
interested in geology and bird watching as there is access to the Farne Islands
from Seahouses Harbour. Close to stunning golf courses at Dunstanborough,
Seahouses and Bamburgh.
Travel
From the South continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following
signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow
signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the
right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After
Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village. At the
roundabout turn right and continue down Main Street. At the bottom of the road
turn left at the roundabout and you will see The Viking Development on your
right. The electronic gates to the property are situated next to The Farne Gift
Shop.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for
choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage
are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner
and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour.
Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a
thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not
green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll
around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should
visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite
scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches
– ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive
away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively,
a stroll along the coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to
Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be
required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your
holiday starts.
