located along a quiet stretch of Main Street in Seahouses, only a short walk
from the harbour and all the amenities and activities the village has to offer.
Comfortably accommodating six people in 3 spacious bedrooms, Breakwater cottage
provides the highest standard of self catering holiday accommodation.
The entrance hall of this property leads to a beautiful, spacious open plan
living room and dining room with French doors opening onto the private enclosed
garden to the rear of the property. The comfortable leather sofas, 50 inch
plasma television with sky and the cosy log burning stove makes this cottage the
ideal place to relax and unwind. The well equipped newly fitted kitchen provides
everything you may need during your stay. There are three spacious bedrooms; on
twin and one double on the ground floor, and the master bedroom and bathroom on
the first floor. Well equipped with double glazing, gas central heating and a
wood burning stove, this cottage is the perfect getaway all year round.

1 minute walk to the harbour and a five minute walk to the beach.
Special interest holidays
Ideal for walking all year round. Good base for those interested in geology and
bird watching as there is access to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour.
Close to stunning golf courses at Dunstanborough, Seahouses and Bamburgh. Horse

Travel
From the South
Continue past Newcastle
and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take
second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for
Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on
the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses
village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive
in Seahouses village.
After the Jet garage on your left, you will reach a mini roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and you will find yourself on Main Street. Continue down Main Street for around 350 yards and you will find, 116 Mainstreet on your right. There is off street parking available beside the cottage.
From the North
Continue past Berwick on
the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Just after a short
distance of dual carriageway, take a left and follow signs for
Seahouses (10 miles) along the B6347. As you pass Beadnell on
the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses
village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive
in Seahouses village.

In Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery
and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit.
Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of
Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and
there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along
Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour.
Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you
will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit
special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick
Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning
gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should
visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of
the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and
stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot
Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across
to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along
the coast to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to
Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be
required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your
holiday starts.
