Situated in a quiet residential area in Seahouses village, Beachbanks is only a short walk from the shops, harbour, beach and golf course. This recently built property has its own enclosed decked garden, which is accessed through the patio doors from the lounge, ideal for a summer barbecue or a place to enjoy a peaceful afternoon.
The property has a fully equipped kitchen and spacious lounge / dining room and separate WC downstairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the main double bedroom is en-suite and has fantastic sea views down the coast. There is also a family bathroom and second bedroom with twin beds. The cottage is central heated making it an ideal place to stay for a holiday or short break all year round.

Beachbanks is a cosy, recently built house in a quiet, residential area in Seahouses, newly refurbished and equipped to the highest standards, from the comfortable lounge to the soft luxurious beds. It is warm and welcoming and only a few minutes walk from the golf course and the harbour.

Ideal for walking all year round. There is information about visitor attactions in the property. Ideal base for geologists and bird watchers as access to the Farne Islands is from Seahouses Harbour.
Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will see a smart new housing complex. Turn into the estate and follow the road until you reach the cottage on your right.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
The cottage is available to rent on a weekly basis all year round. Short breaks are also available off-peak. A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week will be required to secure the booking. The balance to be paid 4 weeks before your holiday.
Notes on prices
Prices shown on a Saturday are per week in UK Pounds. For short break prices, simply click on your start date (Friday or Monday), select the number of nights and click GO. The price for the break will then appear.
Weekly bookings (7 nights) are available from Saturday to Saturday.
Special weeks indicated in green are available for bookings of 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday or short stays with a minimum of 3 or 4 nights commencing on a Friday or Monday.
