This lovely family cottage has been lovingly restored to provide a fantastic base for those wishing to explore the Northumberland coastline. Sleeping six, this is a spacious property with lots of outdoor space, in an ideal location in central Seahouses.
Recently refurbished to a very high standard, Aerona House provides excellent accommodation. With plenty of outdoor space, yet in such a central location, this cottage is perfect for families with children. All of the rooms are very spacious, with a modern, fully-equipped kitchen, separate dining room and large lounge to the ground floor. To the first floor are three good sized bedrooms, two doubles, one with en-suite, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom.

Notes on accommodation
This property has been finished to a very high standard and will not fail to impress. A real home from home, Aerona House provides a fantastic base from which to explore the stunning Northumberland coastline. Alternatively, the central location of the cottage makes it great if you just want to potter around the village. Only a short walk from the harbour, why not take a trip out to the Farne Islands whilst you’re staying here? With plenty of space outside, as well as secure parking, this cottage feels just like home. Pets welcome.

Ideal for walking all year round with beaches either side of the village. There is information about visitor attractions in the property. Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh Castles nearby, Farne Islands accessed from Seahouses harbour 3 miles away. Alnwick, Holy Island, Lindisfarne and other great places to visit are all within easy reach of the property.
Travel
From the South: Continue past Newcastle and Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses (13 miles). The cottage is located at 74 Main Street.

At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
Booking notes
A deposit of a third of the cost of the holiday (or a £100 minimum) will be required to secure the booking. The balance is to be paid six weeks before your holiday starts.
